SITE SPECIFIC COMMISSIONS

With my team I have created many site specific events, including for the Royal Opera House, Salisbury Cathedral and Greenwich Festival. Specially designed for the acoustics and architecture of each venue, the performances utilise the chosen venue to the full.

The Singing Circle 
is a surround sound choral experience commissioned by the Royal Opera House, composed and directed by Helen and choreographed by Liam Steel. The show was about difference and commonality and celebrated the rich diversity of singers and people in London.  It received standing ovations and audience members people wept.

A Body of Song 
is a site specific song theatre event for the Queens’ House in Greenwich commissioned by Greenwich Festival.

Where Two Worlds Touch 
is a site specific performance created for Salisbury cathedral commissioned by Salisbury Festival and composed by Helen and Howard Moody for 2 choirs, 4 soloist singers, brass quartet, Sufi dancer and percussionist. The performance celebrated the commonality between religions, focussing on the great mystics from different religious traditions.
